Currently April

I haven't done a Currently in awhile and I'm kind of late to the party but oh well...better late than never, right? :)

Listening - We are resolutely loving our Spring Break here. It's chilly outside so the girls are playing the Lego Movie game on PS4 in the next room. I swear if I hear "Everything is Awesome" one more time.....

Loving - I am totally loving being on break. No schedule, no demands. It's pretty awesome. I'm not going anywhere or doing anything but I don't even care. I'm happy to be able to relax. Let's face it, I barely have time to do that (ever) when school is in session.

Thinking - Despite being on Spring Break from school, I still have grad school to deal with. Ugh. I'm over it already. I just have zero desire to finish the projects for this class. I will obviously but that doesn't mean I have to like it :)

Wanting - I would do anything for a Fountain Diet Coke right now....seriously. Except get up and drive to get one haha Anything else though :)

Needing - My poor feet are begging to wear sandals and flip flops but until I have pretty feet again, it's probably not going to happen. Of course...getting a pedicure means I have to get up and leave my house....maybe when I finally do I can get myself that fountain Diet Coke too....

EGGS-plain - Nothing fancy. When I started this blog I decided that it should definitely be something I can relate to...and I am definitely caffeinated (hello Diet Coke). I am not a coffee drinker and never have been. You really don't want to be around me if I haven't had my beloved DC in a day or two.

Head on over to Farley's blog and link up...it's never too late, right? :)

  1. Hi Raye, Kudos to you for going for your dr. after getting NBcert'd. Getting my Masters and Reading Special certification almost did me in! My husband wants me to get my doctorate so he can call me Dr. LOL I told him he could w/o me going to grad school. I could also put pedicure on my list! Why do we take care of everything else but ourselves? I'm getting a haircut finally this week. Enjoy your break. Summer is right around the corner.

    1. Hi Pauline,
Most people think I'm nuts (probably true) for getting my doctorate but there are goals that will be easier to achieve once I have it. :) Spring Break has been awesome....summer will be better. :)

    1. True story! I went on medical weight loss a few years ago and went 39 days without a Diet Coke....never again. It's my one real vice (aside from chocolate) and I refuse to give it up again. Ever. :)

    1. Diet Coke is my biggest (and really only) vice so I refuse to give it up even though people tell me how horrible it is. At least I don't do drugs or drink alcohol excessively, right?? :)

  4. I am with you on the fountain drinks! It's the number one thing I miss the most about living out of the country. I used to be MAJORLY addicted to Mountain Dew Thirst Busters from Circle K. Fortunately (at least now - it used to be unfortunately) the Mountain Dew is formulated differently here and the taste just doesn't do it for me. Except when I visit home...

Enjoy the remainder of your break!

    1. My hubby doesn't understand my need for fountain drinks. They are SO much better than in a bottle or can. When I was overseas I noticed their sodas are not made the same so I drank Coke Zero a few times because it tasted more like Diet Coke does here. It's probably the reason I could not ever really move there....I need the fountain! :)
